Thinking about trading....

Anytime I see trucks setup as a 5th wheel tow truck, I usually walk away from as the strain and wt that truck has pulled in its lifetime. I would have to go through the whole drive train and serious test drive in order for me buy one. I would stay with what you have. Is there a specific reason you are interested in that, work, towing or a project? But opinions are like asses, everyone has one. :thumb:

Yes 4x4 to 4x2. I've always wanted a square body dually and don't really use the 4wd much anyway. Besides, I have the Burb for the off highway jaunts.

Opinions...:haha:yes you are right. But I value the opinions of my brothers/sisters. :D I hadn't thought about what you said. I did talk to the owner a bit and he has only had it a couple of years. Says it's numbers matching and is in good shape. Says the hydroboost is leaking but he has a kit. Replaced the one in my 98 last year, that sucked and was expensive...around $200.

I'm sure I'll probably regret it if I do it. Felt that way when I traded my K5...still kick myself for that one.

Thanks guys.

To me, a Maaco paint job says they're trying to cover something up.

I would stay with what you have to be honest.

Well....If it were me I'd really have to hold onto the '76 (to coin somebody) like forever. In the end it does'nt matter if it makes you nuts than buy it but you'll be one with the '76 forever as the demand for that particular truck isn't kicking down every dealership door.

Your '98 has more desireability and potetially more worth in the end though.....something your gonna have to hash out and think about.
