Thinking @ getting a diesel...

Hi ya'll.

I'm thinking @ getting a 6.2 'burb (4x4) for traveling. (I won't travel with 2wd again after nearly getting trapped by Hurricane Floyd.)

What kind of performance can I expect on as far as highway use?

And what are the power specs, torque vs. horsepower? I imagine turbo'd would be the way to go.

Any insight, tips, info, recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!

One thing to remember is that a 6.2 will run on almost anything. The other newer electronic engines can be more fussy

definatly turbo it, my own personal mantra is that a diesel without a turbo is like a man without a.......... tool, theres just no point.

I like my truck, and it does well enough for what i use it for, but it will be getting a turbo as soon as i get the funds.
