So a pic request, big block guys with headers. do you have a good pic of the bends on the passenger side of your truck? Pretty much from the header exit to just behind the t-case.

I have done some exhaust building before so its really no big deal, just weighing all the options before I decide what to do

What I would really like is 2.5 from the headers to just behind the t-case, then into a single 3"

I don't want a dual exhaust so I am left with a local shop or building it myself

Having a tube bender and a notcher would be best, but you can stitch one together using pre-bent tubing. I got tubing from Speedway and cut pieces to fit. Despite a couple of years of welding/fab school and bending custom exhaust for a few years, I had a pressing deadline and screwed up big time. It works, but it's not pretty. If you have the equipment to do it, go for it. If not, my experience says find a GOOD exhaust shop that will fab it like you want.

I farm my stuff out... and most in here know, I don't like farming anything out.. :wink1:

I've got a local Meineke guy that does awesome work.. award winning... and it's usually damn reasonable pricewise....

had the shop do the exhaust on my jeep and wasnt impressed...didnt do it the way i wanted.i bought some mandrel j bends from summit and gonna do the jimmy myself...

If my exhaust guy is back on his feet (broke his back in a sandrail accident) I will probably have him do it but I enjoy tedious things like grinding an exhuast pipe 10 times before welding it together for the prefect fit. Besides I think I can con my way onto a lift to do it.

Haven't really decided yet what to do. Depends on when I get the motor in (should have been 2 weeks ago). And how much time I have.

I still would like to see pictures of the passenger side exhaust pipe, specifically from a truck with a 465/205 combo
