the 1949 john deere model m my grandfather had is possibly up for sale if i want it . fires up & runs good . has already been split and flywheel cut / new clutch/pressure plate installed . rear end was gone threw and in good order . been inside stored a lot of its life .
he has a 1948 parts m to go with it thats 60% there . he also has a bunch of attachments to go with it .
my uncle told me if i want it come get it for 1500 bucks and bring a big trailer for all of it .
few friends i have say its a smokin deal and scoop it up . just dont want to get in over my head with these old units . there is a old timers tractor club in my area and a few others around . so play time would be easy to find for this old girl .
reason i like it is its much smaller than say a model b with the big tires and narrow front .
