well I am thinking about selling my 79 blazer. I want to sell it so I can build a blazer beater (truggy??) , something that I dont have to worry about getting beat up on the rocks. Anyways I am trying to figure out what is a good asking price for my blazer. here is some info on it.
79 blazer
low mile 350HO 330hp vortec crate motor
edelbrock intake and carb, runs great
Has a/c needs charged, pump in good shape, nocked fitting loose working on it and it all leaked out.
TH350/203 part time kit
3:73 10 bolt, 12 bolt rear lockrighted
All new brakes
sky shackle flip
inboard shocks
3" lift kit front
braided brake lines
HD long spline rear driveshaft
33/12.5-15s on 15x10 5 hole mags
newer 2.5" dual exhaust with cats
interior needs work but in OK shape
body is pretty dang straight with NO RUST paint ok some scratches and chips.
The thing runs and drives well, as well as can be expected with soft springs and no antiroll bar :D
Has ok stereo in it but might pull it and sell for less.
sony cd ,and changer, orion cobalt 280, infinity 6.5" components, crossfire 200wrms amp powering 1 12 in orion sub.
Im sure there is more but cant remember everything
So what do you guys think I should ask for it?

Why not just use it like you would a truggy and when you break something, fix it, modify it, etc.

That's what I would do...

The main reason is because this thing is straight, and the 84 jimmy in the back yard isnt. I allready have 472 cadillac built for the truggy/beater blazer.

Fine, then use it to pull your truggy. I just hate to see someone get rid of nice rigs. (I regretted getting rid of mine)

If your set on getting rid of it, I had a friend just buy a 79 that was not as straight for $1500.

This doesn't belong in the garage, sorry. I understand you're 'checking interest' and trying to guage a fair price...but this type of thread is more suited to the for sale forum.

You'll probably get a more targetted response here anyways.

before you sell it, take off that rear window wing and send it to me! :D
