OK, so here is the story guys.
i was going to move the k5 to the other side of my yard so i could put the brakes on the front. i had already taken all the steering off so i just hopped on my trusty john Deere and chained the bucket to the front bumper and lifted the front of the k5 off the ground. it is going well I'm backing up when the blazer shifts and pulls the bucket back to the ground thus lifting the left rear tier way into the air. i thought i was going over but luck for me i get the tractor back on the ground and while I'm thanking my lucky stars that I'm not squished under my beloved tractor when i notice that the bucket has destroyed the front of my truck.the radiator(that was only 6 mo. old), core support, struts that held the core, the fan and the hood were all killed.
so as i was looking at the damage i decided that i was sick of fixing the sheet metal. the body was off in about an hour and i was making plans for the next step in my k5's life. I'm not going to say what I'm going to do but i will post up pics. sorry for the long read. Jayson
O, and to all the people that loved the k5 the way it was, it will not be forgotten. the fenders and quarters will be skinned and hung on the wall in my barn. R.I.P
