This looks like a steal

Unless you are entering the Mexican 1000 rally, I would not be worth it. i see a lot of work needed besides what was mentioned. 1500 would be ok.

It sure looks pretty but it needs work, i agree $2000 at the most.

Still need good tires, i cant see any hub locks on it, coil overs thoose ranchos dont cut it for a pre runner, fab work is a must, a dash....and some other stuff i cant see but im sure its there

Now this one i think is a steal

.....I like the 6 lug up front and 5 lug out back. Would be a fun project but not a $4500 project. </$0.02>

Part that freaks me out about the truck the most is this part "THE TRANS HAS BEEN REBUILT BUT IS NOT WORKING. IT HAS A 350/203 COMBO IN IT NOW BUT I HAVE A 400/205 I WOULD LET GO WITH IT THAT IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER." For that asking price, put a working tranny in the thing...

Also like the invisible exhaust system.

You couldn't have the suspension bought on that blazer for 1500.. Have you ever priced a 4 link?

I do not price stuff. I build my own.

Truck is still not a good pre runner. Way too dated and needs massive up grades. Looks like a full dis-assembly and rebuild.

Man you must be some kind of fabricator. Would love to see some pics of your work to school the rest of us.

This is the last response to your condescending tone. I will let the CK5 crew speak for me.

Later.

Well played. :waytogo: Was't trying to sound like a douche.:doah: However I myself and a lot of others don't have the know how or experience to set up 3 or 4 link suspension. So the cost to do so even just in material can be expensive.

So it probably isn't a "steal" at 4500. But for someone without as much experience with fab work could buy that, finish it and have a decent rig.

To such person like myself it would be a decent buy.

PS. I would like to see pics of your truck looks cool.

I guess we are all better now. Look at the photobucket link in my signature. The front end is different now. Basic 3 link to make it more streetable.

This video was at the local fair. They made me start a half a lap back and race around the outside where the berms were not run down.

Coilovers and bypasses, you could jump over lots of things with thoose, have you done any mods on the engine mounts and drivetrain

Was gonna say...ktm's pretty much the go to guy for desert stuff here...

...looks like an old prerunner. Would do decent at the dunes in Silver Lake, MI but then again so does a stock truck. Would be neat as an example of the history of desert racing but again, yeah, it's obsolete.

Engine and trans are stock. 241 SYE. Stock 10 bolt open up front. Currie extreme duty 9" in back. A whole truck load of grade 8 stuff. Stock mounts.
