This makes me drool...

Looks like a fun truck, although stock motor, tranny, and 52's with 4.56s sounds like a recipie for pokey performance and a burned out tranny.

Not a bad deal though, considering trailers like that can easily be a couple grand.

My K5 has a new stock gm engine with 4.88's and 35" mud tires, and it is a dog, on the road. Well, it isn't aweful, but it doesn't compare to a great small block like what I have in my pickup. I could only imagine trying to spin those huge tires with a stock engine. I wonder if it ever gets out of second gear.

At least the price isn't like some that have been posted.

I would think 4.88's and 35's would make for pretty decent performance, but I guess it's all about what we're used to and willing to accept. Mine has 33's with 4.10's, and while performance is peppy and perfectly adequate, it's certainly not in a league with my corvette. I've known people that were happy with 35's and 3.73's, though I think until you drive a truck that's properly geared you may not appreciate what you're missing.

That price is quite reasonable.

That's some serious "Apples to Oranges" right there :haha:

Back when I had my old blazer in high school, I never even noticed any power difference when going from 31's to 33's, and then to 35's (with 3.73's)....all I really noticed was gas milage would get considerably worse.

I dig it! I am new to 4wd, but I think it would be fun to tinker with. My son would love it!
