This site really sucks

Where's the parts porn? We need pics of all this stuff laid out before install. Everyone loves seeing coilovers even if we have seen them a hundred times.

Or is this just the paint part?

Just paint so far
Waiting on the coilovers and rest of the kit
since i changed my mind on going leaf springs i returned the parts i had already received for the front
so far i have the rear springs, hangers rear shocks and misc hardware.
My buddy is putting front and rear springs with biltstein shocks on his so will be interesting to compare the two when they are done.
Both are 91 k5s and will have 4" lift. he is going to have 33" tires with the stock axles and 410 gears, ill have dana 60/14 with 35" and 456 gears

after its painted its going to the fab shop without the fenders and hood, then after the coilovers are on they get reinstalled

Nice. What springs is your buddy going with? I did the Skyjacker 2-1/2" springs on mine and the ride isn't horrible, but could be better. Made it a ton better when I ditched the secondary shock up front. It just barely fits in my garage, so until I get done with my wife's dually I'm not going to go higher, but if the dually fits in the garage then I'll move the K5 outside and go higher. If there is a night and day difference between yours and your buddy's it will certainly make me lean towards coils.

What color are you painting it? Did they take the front fenders off just to get that much more of a complete paint job?

Custom Springs from ORD, also only going with one shock.
going to paint it white again.
Fenders off will help with paint but they would have left them on except fab shop asked to have them removed so just made sense.
windows are all coming out to.

How come no matter how well things are planned some projects just snowball , just doing a simple paint job since its going to get scratched anyway, turned into well since the hood and fenders are off. then its not the much more work to take off the top ( plus better to paint ) well then may as well take the doors apart also, ok so now the whole blazer is in pieces, what the hell just do it right the first time i guess

You'll be glad you did it that way. When we did mine it was going to be a simple mask and shoot job. Then we got into it and decided to at least take off the bumpers. I didn't take the top off because it was going to be more effort, but in hind site I wish we had. Especially since now a top seal that never leaked now leaks. I think it's possible the fresh paint on the top seam made the seal crack/shrink a little bit once it dried. We are going to have to take the top off anyway now that it's leaking, so we should have just done it to begin with. "Might as well" is pretty much "good you did it" when it comes to a paint job.

Dang I need to get someone to do the fiberglass on my top....and get it painted
