This was kinda weird...

Got the tranny and tcase pulled back out yesterday since the front seal was leaking on the tranny after I put it in and the tcase has a bearing out I think. Anyway, I put the top back on last week, and I was having trouble getting bolts to line up. And the passanger door wasn't shutting, had to lift up real hard to shut it, I figured it was just since the floor was missing a bunch of metal,
Well after I took the tranny out, the door shuts fine, thought that was weird, haven't checked the bolt holes on the top yet, but the door works like a champ now. Weird huh?

No it's sitting on it's tires, just removed the tcase and tranny and the door suddenly lined up again.

i would look for a crack in the frame somewhere then or was the crossmember hard to line up or did it slip right in? that is a strange problem

just leave the tranny out, not like you're gonna actually wheel the thing anways. problem fixed
