nice. what did that stuff set ya back? roughly...

With shipping around $250..

The shackles would help you a lot.. 1/2" longer and it won't hit the frame as readily. 88+ has that longer shackle(mine does) and it doesn't smack the frame as often... but they are pretty flimsy compared to these(I bent mine torquing the shackle bolts, hence the upgrade).

I priced out getting DIY4X's shackles and bushings.. and the price was similar with greasable bolts, but I'd have to paint them.

Got it all in.. the shackles went easy. I found that at some point someone had replaced the shackle hanger bushings in the front with poly, but never greased them, which explains the squeak I had... they came out easy and in went the ORD bushings :D No more squeaky!

The steering box brace was sucky.. the worse part is, at least for me, nothing wanted to line up and it was a little springy. Guess being tight is the point.. I ended up using a ratchet strap to get close enough to the crossmember to get the bolt started. I need to get a longer bolt though, I'm not liking how only about 1 and a half threads are showing past the nut on the bolt that mounts to the crossmember.

I had ZERO clearance issues with the oil cooler lines. If the truck had a body lift, I could understand that being an issue, but there is enough slack in the lines to skinny the brace in there. The only suggested I would have for ORD is to include a longer bolt for the crossmember mounting, and perhaps a thick washer.

Of course we gotta have some pics.. so I figured the blingity bling bling shackles would work :haha::haha: Show AND go... what a concept :D

I know my shackle angle looks like crap, but it rides pretty nice and it's not a wheeler so why go through the hassle of moving the hanger and getting longer shackles.

Thats awesome. Not a dana 60 or anything like that but something that a majority of us here would like to do. I have been wanting to order those shackles for a while now.

If things keep looking up this year I will be getting a D60 out of a CUCV and have the rear re-geared with 4.56's and an E-locker.. I like what I see numbers wise with the 33" tires and 4.56's, I feel stock gearing isn't enough with stock tires, and 4.10's and 33's would be about the same.
