How do you get the plantires off of the out put shaft I am having trouble getting the gear set off of the output shaft

there is a small snap ring on the out out shaft. it is very hard to see, but you should be able to feel it with a pick or something.

where would a good place be to buy the low/reverse clutch compressor or is it possible to make one

you can usually get them on ebay for like $40 bucks

you could but you would need one to copy. they are simple but you need exact measurments

no i don't i use a universal tool that will do alot more than just the low reverse clutch. sorry /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

The special tools I used to rebuild mine were some c-clamps and a threaded rod with a piece of steel with a hole in it.
