thoose of you running dana 60/14 bolt combos...

Yeah, but if they are unused, I could almost see that price for the set. If they are in the least bit used, or need anything, I don't. Most pay 800-1200 for a 60 and then have to put gobs of money into them to rebuild. Not to mention the 14 bolt. But I would guess he did that just to drum up interest in his parts. Got you to post it here didn't he?

I still don't think that I'll have $6,500 in mine.

I sure as hell don't, in fact I doubt its half that.

Who knows what his reserve is, he's just trying to get someone to buy it up for $6500

He probably made the mistake of buying them from a Stealer:haha:

You can find them Mil surp NEW & crated for less than half on eBay. Of course I couldn't find any examples just now:rolleyes:

that is a surplus set. and for 6500 you could buy and almost build a 6x6 to 4x4 with 52" tires swaped all on it. :eek1:

lets see..

my truck came with a 14bolt ff with 4.56's but
detroit = $475
rear disc = $350
d60 front = $100 - yes $100 so bite me :haha:
4.56's for front and rebuild kit - $200
detroit - $600

I have maybe $1700 into mine.... and if I paid the typical $900 for a d60 then $2600ish..... but yeah used.... not new...

he says "Willing to possibly meet within 100 miles of my home FOR FEE."....he better have thoose things dropped off in a gold package with a bow on top the time i click the buy it now button...and and the delivery for free..i think he is smoking crack..

im into my hybrid d60HP with chevy tubes, 5:13's, ARB all brand new rebuild from boyce for 1300 bucks

The only real problem is that if they are in fact brand new, they could have been sitting in anywhere from 5-20+ years. Hopefully bearing surfaces were coated with grease or oil. If lubricated with oil, hopefully somebody spun the pinion over with the hubs locked (just spun the pinion on rear) to lube everything up. And I cringe to think if they were stored outside.

I paid $685 for my 60 w/4.56's on ebay. it was from alaska. had to completely rebuild it. with new 4.88s and no locker or any trick stuff i'm up to $2000. my 14b is all new with discs and a spool for under $650.
but now i want a locker, 35spline outers and deadenbear knuckles. so that will be onother $1800. almost wish i would have went 2.5tons.

I could probly buy 20 or so axles for that much money. And it wouldn't be all GMs either, found another HP60 yesterday.

I don't care if they are brand new, no way are they worth that much. You can buy a D70 front for 1/4 of that. That's with 5.13s, lockouts, discs, all ready to go.
