i just installed the rear ones this morning, and im a little peeved that you have to notch out for the gas tank fill door.

now there is a void, why do they not mold for this?

unless i just really screwed up and shouldnt have vut it, but the directions say to also.

Afaik, that's the way you do it. Ratzila had them on his Burb, the installer cut his gas door instead of the flare but the idea is the same (and sucks, imo).
 
PO'ed me too. I used marine epoxy and just molded it to look good. I bought mine used so I was painting the anyway.

well, that makes me feel better anyways. i was thingking of moulding something out square and painting it black to match. we shall see
