You may be interested in the Tamiya F-350 Hi-Lift, it's very realistic. Complete with leaf springs and three speed shiftable transmission, also has selectable lockers:o

Oh ya I love my Rustler but for whatever reason going flat out all the time is starting to bore me. Id love to have one of those Realistic K5s. But the big truck needs finished first.

how much does that cost?

350, you'll be into it for at least 500 by the time you buy a radio, speed control, and battery/charger combo. You have to build it yourself though, so you can kinda peice it together.

I already have a nitro mt. That would save some money on the radio

Man I need to talk my self out of it again :haha:

what is that like plastic c-channel?
aluminum

where do you find all the supplies should someplace like hobbytown have it?
some parts you'll find at hobbytown, but mostly on the net. hobbytown caters to mostly go fast rc's

and what did you use for winch cable?
80lb test spider wire

how did you make the bumpers?
bumpers are a hpi savage part

and finaly about how much does it cost to build this stuff?
all that depends on parts put into it. anywhere from $300 to as high as $1000. i have about 275-300 in mine and that's using stuff i had already and fiind good used parts.

Jeez man, that picture threw me for a loop, I thought it was a picture of some HIGHLY detailed RC's, hahahaha.

Okay I haven't picked up my clod in a while... But last time I bought a body, and after painting it, I racked up a 90 somethin' dollar bill....

And what kind of axles are those?? (I didn't look at the build thread/site thing yet) Tamiya axles?? I know the clods have the motors mounded to the axles, but are those out of that newer tamiya monster (what is it again the TNT??).

After seeing that it makes me want to drop another 700plus dollars into another RC rig... But I have like seven of em and don't run any of em. But watching that movie brings it alllllllll back. It's a lot of fun.

the axles from my k5 are from a tamiya tlt, bad part is the truck has been discontinued. you can still find some out there but the prices will be a bit higher.

the hpi wheely king is also a good truck to build from.

this will be the kit to get though.

it's a 87 k5 i believe. hacked narrowed and caged. four linked front and rear with coilovers. tbi 350, 700r, and a 208. he has a doubler set up that's going in soon. ummm 44's with trailreadys.

Well you see I already have the clod outfitted with a ripper pro chassis. And it has gobbs of flex....

I think what I'd do is just try and out fit it with some crawler tires, and wheel what I got. But I really like that Axial AX-10...

Oh jeez, I'm in trouble, why'd you give me that link??

:haha: :haha: :haha:

sell your crap you dont use and build the ax 10. crawlin is more fun to me than my fast assed stampede. ever since i got my axles i havent touched the other truck. photobucket was bieng a little bitch or i would pimp out my truck.

How much does a running axial cost?

Edit: is it 259 rtr? I may have to get one :D

allright you guys, these no glass in it right now but its pretty much there. i got to add the LED lights, bedliner, fix the winch, and then the interior needs to be finished, maybe some sliders, narrow a new rear axle for it, then i need to get that bumper the way i want it and then, and then! its almost finished i keep saying.
