I did not say there was anything wrong with sapper's K5 in the Pic. I think it is a beautiful truck also. I wish it was sitting in my Driveway. I did not mean any offense to the owner of that fine truck.
But to pick it and go on a taco board and say our trucks are better than yours when it is sitting on jack stands, and being worked on ?
I like Dontoes Pics way better. Kinda drives home the "My truck is better than yours point"
As far as street legal I was referring to the bead locks not the bumpers.. i could be wrong I know you can get DOT beadlocks but Those don't look like DOT approved to me. Thought DOT BLs had a zillion bolts holding the lock ring on.

HeY guys i aint getting down on K5s I own one. I love it. For. me there is no better
Truck (Not an SUV FJ fall under the SUV name).
But I drove a FJ with a locker. I took it offroad. It was sure footed and went everywhere i pointed it. It was not under powered at all. 0- 60 in a little over 7 seconds aint bad for a 4400 lb rig with a auto tyranny. It was a lot faster than my K5. My K5 weighs right at 5K. The last time I had my G tech on it best time 0-60 was 8.5-9. I am not trying to say FJs are better than a K5.
It is just that i think Toyota has hit a winner with it. It is a nice little rig that is way better than 99% of the other poser new 4x4s out there. I would take a FJ any day over a heep. I haven't drove a H3 yet. Thats why I said 99% I will give my nod to GM
