Thoughts on mile marker winches

So the new sub has a mile marker winch on it, I've never had one and don't think i even know anyone that has, are they any good?
i'll switch out the cable for a good synthetic rope

My first thought was just to sell it and get a warn but the new ones seem to be not quite as good as the older models ( guess they are trying to keep the costs down but at the expense of quality )

An old MM might very well be better than a new chinese made Warn. Give it a workout and see how it does before spending $ unnecessarily.
