I thought these were pretty interesting. The blue ones look a lot like the gauges in my Cadillac Escalade. Price at first seems high, but by the time a guy buys all autometers to do the same thing you are pretty much close to that price anyway, and the lighting looks much better with these, which is big for me. Just curious if anyone has bought one of these clusters yet and what they think of them.

Yeah the price would be pretty steep for someone with a stock setup that can't take advantage of all their features.
For guys like the OP that are doing LS swaps they're a pretty sweet option since they can pull most of their info straight from the PCM so you don't have to worry about adapting everything. Plus they have multiple trip odometers, gear selection indicator, and the ability to show boost level, indoor/outdoor temp, etc with an add on piece.

I don't have a set yet but plan on eventually picking one up for my LS swap. A few guys over at 67-72chevytrucks have them and were really happy. Here's the link to the Dakota Digital site that has a better description of what they can do:

I've got them going into my '68. I think they are one wire hook up to the gauges, using a CAT5 cable from a small input box. I went a step farther and ordered the ODB2 reader box. So all the gauge information comes from the OBD2 port. (except fuel, oil, high beam, blinkers. All that goes through the first input box)

Pretty clean
Mine is the black face with white lights. I wasn't really digging the colors.
And no, it's not connected yet :( Patiently waiting in the garage

I'm really digging these gauges. At first the price does seem quite high, but again once you add up the cost of a set of autometers, you aren't far off, and it looks to me like you get a lot more with these VHX gauges. I think I am going to order them for my K5 eventually. It will give the drivers seat a more modern look.

Two things I don't care for. 90 degree sweep gauges, and the tiny font size.
