I have a 1983 K30 factory one ton with 4" lift springs in the front, and crossover steering and PSC hydro assist. I like to keep the center of gravity low (the truck is HEAVY), and as such, I am considering adding a one inch body lift and some zero rates to the front and rear.
I have Zero rates in my Suburban and they work great for the little extra tire clearance, but that truck isn't wheeled hard. This one is.
Here's a couple shots of the front end and the truck in question.
I am mostly concerned about strength and durability as well as clearance. Thoughts?
