I was looking at my 72 blazer today that I bought relatively built. I noticed that on top of the knuckles there are threaded stud post with nothing attached. I will see if I have a pic... What could they be used for?

SRY No Pics of it... Here is my current steering set up...

the stock steering arm was attached there, you now have whats referred to as crossover steering, so its empty over there now

I'm going to assume you're talkiing about the driver side knuckle? If so that is where the factory steering arm used to be but the pic you posted shows a rig with crossover steering (the passenger side knuckle has been drilled/tapped or an aftermarket knuckle installed and a new steering arm attaches to it instead). The crossover steering is a good thing. The longer the draglink is the less bumpsteer you get and you'll still be able to steer when the axle is stuffed into the wheelwell.

Damn you Chris, you beat me to it. :D
