I am getting my sideyard concrete poured on thursday and thought i might as well put anchors in ahead of time for my bender, rather than drilling and epoxying later. Any idea on where to get threaded tube to stick in there when they pour it?

Should I just get some DOM or something and have it threaded for like a 1/2 bolt?

thx!

Sounds like overkill to me. I just used flush mount anchors that I plug when not in use so I dont catch my foot and spill my beer. Epoxy not needed, just a hammer drill. Made it so I can mount a few different tools outside in the sunny PNW:D.
If you really want to spill your beer gets some allthread at the hardware store.

another thing you could do is weld a peice of sqaure tube to a thick plate maybe with some holes in it and have that set in the concrete, cut any remaing tube sticking up after concrete has cured of flush and you now have a receptacle you could slide your bender stand into.

Red Head makes what you would need as mentioned above but their specific name is a Drop-in anchor. Drill the appropriate size hole in concrete and use a supplied setting tool to expand the bottom of the anchor once it is flush with the concrete surface. Very simple to do and no trip hazard.

Didn't realize Red Head was this popular, we use their anchors on flanged fence posts all the time, heavy duty stuff.:waytogo:
