Three Range Tranfer Case

I was goofing around at work today, wasting the taxpayer's money, and I came across a pretty cool product. It is made by Stak and it is called the Monster Box. The coolest part about it was the fact that it had three ranges. High, low (3.ish to 1) and jizz in your shorts low 5.4ish. Anyone heard of this thing? I am really interested in how durable it is. It is really expensive, but if it's tough it fixes a hole lot of problems with getting a flexible transfer case setup and keeping drive shafts longer.

Did a search

I am sorry but I did search for the STAK Monster Box on Coloradok5, but I found nothing on it. That is why I asked the question. What is the AA transfer case going to be called? I have questions about this specific transfer case to see if anyone has heard anything about it's strength and durability. Does anyone know anything about that or do I need to search again?

Sorry man, didn't mean to offend, there haven't been any real in depth threads on here so you haven't missed much. Pirate has one or two long ones going so try over there, they have a ton of info.

Not offended, just had a hard day at work that day. If it can be as strong as a doubler it is great, although much more costly, alternative. If I had some more wheel base then there would be no competition between the two, but I want to make sure that I don't have to change u joints out every 6,000 miles. I will chekc at pirate. Once again thanks for the info.

One other downfall is that it is currently only available for a 23 spline input. There is no GM 23 spline tranny that i'm aware of. TH350 = 27 spline, TH400 = 32 spline, 700R4 = 27 spline, 4L60/4L60E = 27 spline, 4L80E = 32 spline, SM465 = 10 and 32 spline.

actually, you can hook it up to any tranny out there, they are working through (not advance, but the other adaptor company.) Novak conversions. (just remembered) right now they have it behind a 400 in a jeep. they just bought a blazer to put it behind a fullsize to see if they needed to do anything to upgrade it, so far it has held up just fine.

i am actually friends with Sean (the "S" in STaK) and it is actully really neat to see them come up from basically a couple of guys that like wheeling to the only competition to AA.

last week the Petersons rag came down and did an article on them so thay said it should be out in a couple of months.
