Does anyone have, or can anyone take, a picture of the throttle cable routing on the engine side of a TBI 350? My 91 K5 has had an extremely annoying problem where the accelerator would stick at idle and you could not gradually increase the gas...every time I was at a light, it impossible not to chirp the tires. Got plenty of nasty looks. I had it in for an inspection and I asked my shop if they could take a look at it and they said the valves in the TBI were warped and sticking. When I got it back I hand operated the TBI and there was no issue at all. I took a chance at the cheap option and replaced the throttle cable and it's a million times, better, but both the cable I took out and the one I put in seem way too long and I don't see how it is "supposed to be routed." I think the way it was routed led to premature failure.

1991 Suburban V2500 TBI. Stock, with cruise. The cable comes out of the firewall and then makes a loop up and around behind the cruise actuator and into the throttle bracket.
