Throttle cable & tv cable 700r4 bracket

Friend has a little project with sbc and edelbrock carb & intake . He has a 700r4 trans also with this combo .

Who has a nice bracket combo and not a super cheepy 9.95 china one ?

He is also doing universal throttle cable setup for this ride . Thanks for any help / pics / links to bracket .

I bought one from Bowtie Overdrives for my Edelbrock carb/ 700R4 in my '72 C10.
The throttle cable mount wasn't quite stout enough for my foot and NOT having the pedal pull distance/ throttle stop set well enough. So I welded on some bracing after straightening it out.

Even with that issue, I would buy it again because of how well it works for shift points and down shifts.
I do have a Transgo shift kit in it, but before I only had the TV cable mounted to try and mimic a factory installation.
With their kit it is vastly better. It doesn't need tons of throttle input to get a downshift, which makes it much like a nice TH350 transmission.
And it will drop 2 gears at once in certain conditions when you stomp on it.

The specific TV cable makes a difference too. I know the '83 TV cable used with a Crossfire Injected engine is a different length past the sheath, compared to the typical cable used with the carb and TBI setups. I don't know if that's the only oddball or if there are others.
