Throttle cable

Is there any way to extend the throttle cable for these trucks?? Do you just pull on it?


I'm just a 1/4 inch away, and I don't want to hook it up to the carb. The idea of having the carb at part throttle all the time is disconcerning to me...

If your throttle cable dont reach the carb then the bracket must be bent. AFAIK there is only one cable for our trucks.

there are multiple cables, different lengths, but they all have the same effective 'throw' meaning from where they attach to the bracket on the manifold, to the carb end is the same length. I ran into this problem in reverse. I didnt have enough throw to take it from closed to WOT. I had to take the pedal out and bend it a little so it has enough throw.

So didcould I bend it the opposite to what you did, and gain the extra 1/4". I don't know why this won't reach.... Really bothers me...
