Throttle cable

I'm have a hard time finding a throttle cable for my 84 k5 that's not too long. It's a small block chevy engine with a Holley truck avenger carb.
It being too long makes for a loop in the cable and that in-turn makes the pedal hard to mash. Anybody know where to get a shorter/custom length throttle cable ?

Also... the one I'm using is the correct one for the truck according to all the parts stores.

i used to have the same problem in my 82 took one similar to this cut the housing down to size and the cable to length and no more sticky throttle
