Chevy 350 in both with edlebrocks 650avs in both.
Gas pedals feel fine,

I'm just wondering if any of you use 2 throttle springs? I only have one on both trucks.

It was a hold over from the factory carb installs. A second spring there if the one breaks. I have 2 on all of my carb stuff. A stuck throttle sucks. Never happens at idle.
So, you'd recommend I add one? I have the spring set already.

I run 2 on my qjet, they are the OE style so don't have a crazy amount of tension.

I just added one to my c10, damn dude shit was tight as hell. I split one of the black springs and added that, still tight but manageable. We'll see when I drive though. I'm going to add the second black one to the K5 and see how it feels.

I just bought that cheesy Dorman spring set from Oreillys or auto zone .. I think

That smaller black spring I separated it and just used one instead of how's its doubled

That Dorman kit looks a lot like what I have but I can't remember where I got them. Mine looks like the smaller black spring inside the biggest spring but they don't have a ton of tension.

Don’t go all Hulk Hogan on the spring tension - if it’s overdone it’s easy to wear out the throttle shaft bushings prematurely and have leaks.

The first one I put on today was insanely tight. I split the black spring and it's better, tight but not where I have to stand on the pedal. But tighter than I'm used to.

My blazer has had one spring for like 5 years now about as long as I've had this Dorman kit... hahahaha. Should have left it alone but...

I was tinkering around on the trucks today adding massive amount of horsepower to my blazer. 5 brand new F-ing stickers in the cab.... seeeeeend it, brother!!!!!
