I just put a new clutch and pressure plate along with a new pilot bushing and new throwout. When i was putting the throwout bearing on i noticed that the bearing retainer had grooves in it but i needed the truck to get around so i just slapped it together. Now like really fainth i can hear the bearing scrapping on the bearing retainer i mean real faint. As soon as i applie some pressure to the clutch fork it stops immeditaly. I mean the littlest ammount of pressure. Do you think it will be ok or should i replace the bearing retiener and while im in there just slap a new throwut bearing in there just incase?
