What's up with these two part numbers? Advance Auto lists N3068SA as "Clutch Release Assembly" whereas N4068 is just "Clutch Release Heavy Duty." What would come in the assembly that wouldn't come in the standard package, and what advantage would I have getting the heavy duty if I would have to buy the regular one to get the extra "assembly" parts? Doesn't seem like much would be in a TO bearing assembly except the bearing. :dunno:

Modifications, Troubleshooting, Repairs or Maintenance for the '73-'91 models, most technical help is usually found here...
I guess it's my bad for trying to use the tech forum for its intended purpose. :rotfl:

75, when i got the clutch for my 79, it came with a throwout bearing, it was half the size it needed to be, wouldnt even think about working...so check it out, and see how big yours is, and compare it...

I'll resist the temptation to comment on that. :rotfl:

I am piecing together a setup from scratch so I'll have nothing to refer to. I guess the best thing to do is buy both and take the one back that doesn't work (will have to compare them in the package though, which sucks)

The main thing I was confused about was that one part was listed as TO bearing "assembly" and the other was just the bearing by itself. I can't think of what would come in an assembly.
