I have noticed a ticking noise in the front of my Jimmy for a while now.It's not like the clicking that you get on a front wheel drive when the cv axel is bad.It's more like tick-tick-tick and it increases with speed and goes away as soon as I hit the brakes but comes back when I let off of the brakes.That makes me think it is brake related but I checked and the pads look new.Any ideas what it could be?

:haha: I misread the title.:rotfl::doah:

Could be a little mud or dirt in the brakes. I had that happen after mudding... it went away after a day or two.

This has been going on for a few months now.I was wondering if maybe it has something to do with the hubs but I dont understand why it goes away when I hit brakes.

I think i read a post a while back when metro was on roadtrip he had a hub do that on him. Might look or ask him about it not sur what he said did it. :confused:

I had the same tick on my d60. Pulled the pads and hammer the edges just enough to make them fit tight. No more tick. Long story short bigbadchv84 was right in my case.

OK,it's back.I changed the pads and clips and the noise went away for about a month and a half.It just started again a few days ago.Any ideas?
