This has probably been beaten to death but i am not having a lot of luck finding what is best for stock replacement on a 10 bolt. If i was looking for D60 info i would be set.

What brand is best? Raybestos, AC Delco, or Moog?

Does any one know the part numbers for the prefered brands?

Do i need the crazy long drivers tie rod end or the regular looking threaded one with the hole for the steering damper?

is the truck drivable? Drive over to an auto parts store and ask for replacements in Moog. Put an eye on what they have and what you got on the truck, make sure it all matches. As for the TR ends, we don't know what you need because the bar changed a few times throughout. If you need the long end, then yes, you need the long end. :)

How would I tell what version I need?

Hate to buy them from the auto parts store; I was trying to save some cash and get the parts from rock auto.

I'm confused. Do you have a tierod currently? Can you just match what you have? Otherwise, look on LMC's website. They have pictures of what each year uses. Take that info and go to Rock's website and choose accordingly.

Yes i do. However, where i have to store my truck its not so easily accessible

I've always personally had great success with Moog products. I know some of the professional series stuff from Raybestos looks very nice with the slightly different design of the balljoint that they claim can eliminate wear.

I'm sure there are pros and cons, and maybe some guys that work in the biz can add more here. I put some of these in my Honda and in the end wish I hadn't spent the extra money because I sold it long before they could fail again!

Edit -- haha, fixed the link thanks to Stomis' guide!http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=280478

I just did the Tie rod ends on my Dana 44 and I used the Moog "Problem Solvers" from rock auto. I got the long one and the threaded one cause they were both sloppy for me. Really tightened up the steering and got rid of this annoying pop I had when turning.

Which long one?

I just ordered the left and right tie rod ends. The left one i got had the hole in it for the stabilizer and then the pitman to adjuster and the adjuster to the steering arm.

Hmmmmm, the 10 bolt might be different than the D44 I guess. I had 1 really long bar with a tie rod built into it, 1 threaded tie rod and then a coupler that connected them together.
