1/2 ton status
I'll be installing a crossover steering/high steer setup in the coming months and a question popped into my head about draglinks and tierods. I want to run regular TRE/DLE instead of running heims. What ends do you run? I know alot of people upgrade all there joints to 1 ton but why should I switch from my current type?
Same question with rods. Do tie rods really break that easy under steering pressure? Im going high steer so bashing it on rocks is not a concern. I was considering making my own tie rod and drag link out of the stock 10bolt rods I have (2). 1-1/8" i belive and the threaded ends are there allready there. Just have to change the length.
