Tie Rod Dana 60 build ?'s

I am currently building a dana 60 (early dodge edition). the tie rod that came on it is bent, slightly, but none the less, its bent. I would like to go back with all new parts. Should I stay with tapered end joints or go to heim ends? pros/cons? I appreciate any advice, thanks

Personally, I like tie rods over heims. Most heims are not sealed so they are vulnerable to mud, road dirt, etc which will cause accelerated wear. Tie rod ends just plain work, the only down side I can think of is they working angle limitations but that's not really a problem for a tie rod.
