They looked very similar. But no jam nut. Boot was different also. It's not that I'm opposed to parts that wear out just the ones I can't find replacements for.

No DRE and TRE do not have the same taper IIRC. The Drag link end should be larger.

The taper is the same angle, but done to a different depth. So a TRE will flop into a DLE hole and you probably can't get it tight. Put a DLE in a TRE end hole and you probably can't get the nut started.

That's sounds right. Still incompatible obviously.

I have one of those. I could not find an end. Are both ends shot? One one mine is still good you can have it if you want. I ditched the setup

Do you happen to still have this??
