Ok so all i need to finish crossover steering is a left hand jam nut. I have been to every parts store in town while i was buying tie rod ends and never could find the left hand threaded tie rod end with a jam nut. where the heck do they come from if you cant get a TRE with a jam nut. isnt that the whole idea? What good is a TRE without a jam nut anyway?

NAPA. That's where I got mine. Can't believe someone would try to sell you a TRE w/o the jam nut, but then again, it is Texas ;)

Most TRE's don't come w/ jamb nuts. We have to make ours.

i think i found one but over the phone you never know. ill keep you posted.

If you can't find one, pm me. I'll help you out. We keep a few of them in stock at all times. They are elusive little buggers. :p:

no luck for now i have cut down the sleeve clamp to the width of the clamp only and its going to work for now. if you have one that would be awsome thanx.

Now another quik question. How much of the treads on your TREs are threaded into your draglink? I only have about 1 inch on either side is this ok?
