Ok first Does anyone have a part number I can take to napa for my tie rod ends on my dana 60. I asked for them and the ones I got are tiny compared to the ones on there now (stock)

Also its odvious how the passenger side is replaced but how do you replace the divers side? It looks like it one with the tierod? I know I should know this but I dont sorry for the newb questions, thanks for any info

i dont know the part # but you are correct that one end is a part of the entire rod. in order to simply replace that end, the rod needs to be replaced as well.

I have my factory original tie rod i'd be willing to sell. I updated to a 1.5" DOM tie rod with larger ends so i don't need it anymore. Make me an offer and come pic it up here in Fremont.

EDIT: These were replaced just a couple years ago and are still good.

here is a pic, does it look like it needs replacing? The passenger side is very much gone so no question there.

I would just replace both at the same time. If you can look into getting a beefier replacement rod from ORD or something if the price is similar. I believe for around $200 I got a new 1.5" tie rod and new ends. The aftermarket tie rod ends thread in to the tube. The tie rod is tapped at both ends.

well that seems more worth it to me inthe long run

I would personally just replace the whole tierod with a beefy unit. I bought my 1.5" .375 wall tierod 5 years ago and as far as I can tell I have not been able to bend it yet and the TRE's still seem to be in great shape. I am very happy with it and have smacked the hell out of it and it doesn't even flinch.
