Any suggestions on where to buy a new Tie rod for my 60. I am looking for fairly beefy and with replaceable ends. Thanks

www.sky-manufacturing.com

Get a tierod at least .250 wall. I would really suggest a .375 wall or .500 wall tierod if you plan to rockcrawl your rig. You can also make a tierod if you want. It is pretty easy if you can get your hands on the steel to do so. Buy 5ft of 1.5" .250 wall DOM and weld in TRE tube adapters of the 7/8" variety and then sleeve the .250 wall tierod with 1.75" .120 wall HREW or DOM tube. I would use right hand thread TRE's on both ends of the tierod. The ends are cheaper and easier to find.

Sky will probably make you a .375 wall tierod if you ask them to which is probably easier to do then make is yourself unless you have decent fab skills and like to use them.

I am recommending WFO Concepts for all of this stuff. I Got my arms, T/R, D/L, all ends, pitman arm, etc.. from them. The parts are top notch and the service is 2nd to none from my experience. I am talking order custom parts on Tuesday and get them on the UPS truck on Thursday!!! Give Trevor a call or check out their website at WWW.WFOCONCEPTS.COM and he can hook you up!! If you go that route, tell him I sent you!!

i got mine from rockstomper. I'd highly recommend ORD and WFO also.

I got the big one from ORD recently and it is SAWEEET! I dont have any experience with the other companies mentioned so my opinion is biased but I'd recommend ORD based on quality, proven products that I have purchased.

I have been real happy with my sky stuff.

That said, support the vendors of the board and give WFO a call.

I like the Rockstomper one but they dont seem to list it on their website.ORD's looks beefy and I may go that route. I want it to be overbiult so I dont bend it again. Thanks Guys

if you don't wanna bend it again get WFO's reversed Hi steer kit!!!!

ORD is usually overpriced on there stuff. I would recommend Sky or WFO. There customer service is better to. I personally have had problems with ORD's customer service and so have other people I know.

I recommend Sky highly but it is your choice.

I like scotts stuff (rockstomper.com) myself. There is also Cambell enterprises and/or randy ellis design for an AZ connection. These things are heavy so the shipping difference may make the answer.

FST (fab shop associated with Fly-n-Hi on McDowell Rd) would probably make you one too. I have delt with them before and they were a good crew when I delt with them.
