I'm replacing the tie rod on the jimmy. It is currently hanging below the steering knuckles but the shop manual I have shows it on top of the steering knuckles. Does it make any difference? Any advantage to one or the other?

Older D44 knuckles mounted from the top. Later D44 and 10b knuckles mounted from the bottom. The holes are tapered so what ya got is what ya got :wink1:
