Tie rods ream tool

I got mine on Ebay... or for that matter, you might find someone localish to you with one.

You're a bit far from me, but worst case you can pop your pieces in the mail...

What are you tapering for 1ton tre's? The only people I've heard of doing this are jeepers since theirs are actually smaller.

You know 1/2, 3/4, and 1ton stuff is all the same size right?

Draglink ends have a bigger taper. Most crossover steering arms are tapered for tie rods. Draglink end can handle more of a angle. Plus, some pitman arms from the junkyard have smaller tapers. Some of us can't use the Ford drop pitman arm because it hits the spring while the suspension is compressed. I got my reamer from AFCO. Tie rods and draglink end take the same 1 1/2" per ft reamer--you just ream the hole bigger for drag link ends.
