This is sad, I took mine all apart, almost back together and have a plastic pice that I have no idea where it came from I think it hold the starter rod piece on but not sure

yes i looked forever, thanks, i just found where it goes, it is the tiny piece that goes from the highbeam switch to the rod, what a ^%$# to find where it went!
