I need to replace the 2 bearing in the steering column in my 87 K5. I found # 7844651 to be what I think is correct kit from GM/Chevy is this correct to give me the 2 bearings that go in the tilt section?

Have you checked to make sure the four bolts for the tilt haven't loosened up inside the column? Pretty common problem. Sucks having to tear it down but most times it's just some lock-tite and tighten them back up.
Check new post tore it down tilt housing cracked bad and 4 bolts where tight.

Well damn it! Guess they can't all be easy. Guess you have to tear down that far anyway
Already did made a new post in garage on it with pictures.
Now searching for parts! Got one part being mailed out tomorrow from a HELPFUL member!
