I have an 88 K10 Blazer with a 4" Tuff Country lift i put in, it has a dana 44 and a 10 bolt rear. i just pulled the front and rear axle from a 1978 GMC suburban. the front axle is a dana 60 and the rear axle is a 14boltFF. what should i be concerned about when is comes to switching out the axles. I.E. shock mounts, drive shafts and gear ratios?? any help is welcome.

You sure it a 60 front? Unless someone swapped it in it will be a 8 lug 10 bolt. Either way the front will bolt in and everything will be the same as your 44 even the u joint (if its a stock yoke). The rear will bolt right up too but you will need a conversion u joint or a 1350 drive shaft. You will need the spring plates that came with the axles and new u bolts. You can get beefy new spring plates and u bolts from kert at diy4x4, ord or some of the other vendors on here. As for gear ratio's they will probably be 4.10's or 4.56's and depending on what you are putting this into (tire size, transmission, engine) you might need to regear

The truck has a fuel injected 350 and a 700R4 trans. i am thinking about running 35 or 37" goodyear MTR's.
