It's time for new ball joints. Now I know you get what you pay for but I've gotta know a few opinions on these I found at RockAuto.com.

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php

What's the difference in the Spicer red service grade vs.the Spicer pro grade? besides price. Can the pro grade be that much better/stronger?

And can anyone tell me what is "enhanced" about the MOOG joints?
These will be going in my 79' K20 w/33x14.5x16.5 SSR's that see's light to no wheeling.(towing-hauling mostly)

Don't flame me or call me a noob, I'm insecure (self esteem issues)

I heard the MOOGs have side-mounted grease zerks on the upper joint so you can grease them without removing the axle shaft.

No idea what the difference between Spicer grades would be but maybe you can go to their web site or call their customer service line.

Personally, I used TRW HD joints in mine. No grease fittings, built in dust boots and lifetime warranty from my local place.

No luck on Spicers site.....it sucks.

Don't know if this will help all that much, but spicer pro service grade use to go by the name "perfect circle" and advertised in a lot of 4x4 mags..

What about partsmike? are his Spicers the pro-joints? anyone.
