timing a 350 sb

missing the emission sticker under the hood and need some info to set timing....
350 with holley 600 carb (model 4160)
what RPM to set at?
what to set the timing at?
do i have to plug any vacuum lines at the carb?
any help would be appreciated.

I think about 8degrees btdc @ 550-600 rpm depending on your trans , manual or automatic. Just disconnect the advance vaccum from fhe carb , and plug both ends while setting the timiing check out this site http://www.centuryperformance.com/timing.htm has a nice explanation on timing.

oh yeah if your not running a stock cam then you will have to advance the timing a bit depending on your cam duration
