Ok guys just finished putting the motor in my Moms 96 truckwith a vortec 350. The motor Is a new GM crate. I started it up and its missing a little. I dont think i have the timing right. Does anyone know the correct way to set it and where it supposed to be set at.I tryed lookin in the Hayes manual but it dont say nothing that helps. Thanks in advance.

You don't really "time" it, you have to have a scanner to set the cam/crank sync.
