Does anyone know on a 86 k5 what the notches stand for in degrees?


From the books I have that show up to 1980 the 4 notches stad for

-4
4
8
12

degrees

But some one else suggested

All I have seen have been the top one from -4 to 12. Take a wire brush and clean it up so you can read it.

Some carb cleaner with the little wand . A long tool with a rag taped to it , like a long screwdriver or skinny jack handle . Worked for me

I am hip to that.....I was working that angle last night.... If someone just had a manual that would much more efficent....

Add all of the time that you have spent checking this thread and you could have gone to the library and looked it up or you could have cleaned it. The easiest way is not always the best.
