My timing tab is located on the my timing chain cover. The only problem is that I can't read any of the markings on it and it is really hard to get my big hands in there. So right now I just have my engine timed by ear :doah:.

Oh, the engine is an 83 305 out of a Firebird, but I don't think it makes much of a difference. Anyone got pics?

Well my taming tab is greasy and I cant read it. So any one got pictures of their readable timing tabs?

Well I'm sure someone can help me out to figure out where my timing is at?

There should be a sawtooth edge to the tab, the biggest indent is usually 0 degrees and the first point is 2 degrees, the next point would be 6 degrees, then 10 etc.
