Timing TBI454

I just put a TBI 454 in my truck and got it all wired up and running. We set the timing a couple weeks ago and set it to 0. In the past couple days I notice when I fire it up it blows some fire out the throttle body so I am thinking it may be off still. Should it be set to 0 or may be adanced a little bit? I also have a MSD pro billet distributor and MSD coil on it as well.

Yes. I just need to know should it be set to 0 or advance some. I thought these came from the factory advance like 8 degrees.

I am pretty sure you set it at zero.

Ok I was just wandering what the stock specs were. It is running really good now. I forgot I had the #7 plug wire off when I was doing some work.
