Timing?

Double checking everything on truck and curious do I go by what book calls for for timing? Or would you adjust differently?

87 K5 350 Tbi after market throttle body from CFM with mods done flow matched injectors, spacer on throttle body, msd wires cap and coil, new plugs ac delco 43's 2.5/3 inch exhaust.

Yes I know to unplug connector when setting timing near booster.

Shut it off with connection still open then plug it in. Never gained anything trying to mess woth that on a tbi

I usually set mine at 4. Part throttle feels stronger, and if your egr is functional you wont have any pinging.
