I just got new front wheel hubs and bearings and all for my Dana 60 front. can anyone tell me how to go about putting the bearing races in the hubs. Do i just tap them in or are there any tricks i should know, anyone who could give me a little advice would help alot thanks.

I have always just used a chisel or punch and a BFH to get the old ones out.
Then I install the new ones by setting them in place and tapping them with a block of wood to start then using a race driver to finish seating the races. If, you don't have a race driver, then use the old race as a driver but then you'll have to drive the old race back out again, after seating the new ones.
Good luck...

thats how we did my buddies 44...races are hardened steel yu cant hurt it with a brass punch. and a small hammer or deadblow.

Throw the races in the freezer for 30mins, they will shrink a little tiny bit, but it makes it a lot easier to get them in.

Ditto. I've done this probably a dozen times and never had a problem.
